I tried it under the playtest, and just played the print version this past weekend.
In some ways it is very different - Warcasters no longer cost points, they give you bonus points that must be spent on Warjacks.
A lot of effects are now linked to immunities - for example Cygnar lightning weapons no longer affect other electrical attack using units.
Points costs are much lower - a Berserker for example costs six points, oddly enough the exact number of points that come with the Butcher....
Infantry is priced differently - instead of buying a unit, then bulking it out one model at a time you can get either a small unit or a large one, but not a unit somewhere in between.
Combat does not seem to have changed all that much, but I may have missed something.
