I built one for Mech Warrior about four years ago and it worked out pretty well! I looked for pictures but it appears I have deleted them or lost them in one of the two hard drive crashes I've had the last four years. YOu may also want to check out Ebbles Miniatures I lied I just found one on Mels site. I have also made these Although granted those two above would work for vehicles and infantry only. Mel is in the process of building a very that could be used for MW. |

Wow - Mel never fails to amaze me with the detail he puts into his vehicle models. |

A mate of mine is halfway through making the Dropship (like the aurora) from MechWarrior 4 game. He is very busy so I don't know if he will ever finish it, but it was intentionally scaled for MWAoD. It was going to be a papercraft project. |

Here are some pics of the hermes model. Like I said, I just hand-built it so I don't have a reproducible plan. I will work on it, though, if anyone says they're interested. (And yes, I know the port wing is slightly longer than the starboard. Bugs the cr@p outta me) |

not the blade's fault; it was the spray paint that melted the foam. I knew it was just a prototype, so I didn't wait for a chance to drive 50 miles to spend $3 on a 2-oz. can of special paint. *Wishes wal-mart hadn't stopped carrying model kits* oh, btw, I had some time today, so... (still have to do the engines, cowls, and dimension the bay interior, but I think that's pretty good for 90min of work) |

Thx Bob. This time I hope to make some kind of printable texture panels to cover up the 'keying' along the panel edges. Btw, I have the model constructed. Now in the process of deconstructing for cutting diagrams / texture panels. My experience with Icarus S. Is really coming in handy as a time saver ![]() |

hey, if anyone is interested in the Hermes model, pm me or something. I don't have it done yet, but I've got a lot going on so I'm going to shelve it for now if I'm the only one who wants it done. |
