I've been at it again; expanding the use of paper modeling beyond table top gaming. My birthday is coming up and my wife is arranging the party. She had a neat idea for invitations but deferred to me the task of making them since I'm the card stock model guru of the household! ![]() Took pictures of my Dell CPx laptop that still gets used every day =) Worked them over in Photoshop. Got everything to line up just right. Print, cut out, fold, done! Simple enough right? Only took about 10 hours =P Lots of tweaking to get it all just right. My daughter thought it was soooooo cool that I let her have one of the draft copies. She pretends to type on it and even use the touch pad! She brings it around places and pretends to use it. Too cute and funny. If anyone wants the art files I can send them to you. Sorry I blurred out some of the info but you get the idea. The first part is basically XML and the second part with the IF loop is basically Powershell. |

That is awesome. My husband's birthday was last week and we resorted to using newsgroups for invitations (again). I may have to steal that idea for next year. |
