It's placement toward the end of the year is also a good time to reduce inventory in preparation for taxes. Old stock gets taxed, hold it for another year and it gets taxed again. Taxes can lead to some... odd... contrivances. For example, the Mansart roof came to popularity because rooms above the bottom of the roof were considered attic, and attics weren't taxed. The Auld Grump, I actually like Mansart roofs.... *EDIT* I hit for Ultraforge and Foundry minis. ![]() Adamant is on all its PDFs - there is plenty of good stuff there. ![]() |

And, kind of late, why you should never accept a necromancer's invitation to Thanksgiving dinner: has not updated in a long while, but I still have a soft spot in my heart for Lord Antares the necromancer. The Auld Grump |

I've done black friday shipping on several occasions. Its usually only worth it if you want electronics. Around me the lines get WAY longer than 16 people. Last time I went to bestbuy the lines wrapped the building. And the store was so filled they had to only let more people in as someone left. The checkout line wrapped more than 1 interior wall as well. And yet for all of that it was shockingly quick to buy something. It only took about a half hour to get in and another half hour to checkout. Other stores are not nearly as good. I waited over an hour in the checkout line at an office store once. With only 5 people ahead of me. And they were only buying a couple things each. |

For what it is worth, The Warstore got my order to me with blinding speed - ordered on Friday it arrived today. A definite thumbs up. The Auld Grump up to four miniatures finished tonight, but now I need sleeeep! |
