Just wondering if WWG has a mIRC channel or something like that. Something where people can talk instantly instead of hovering the forums. Also something that can be used on mobile devices to chat.. web browsers arent the most stable of things on phones I've noticed. |

A number of us have skype account we use to chat. But that mostly only happens if someone posts that they be on at a certain time. And even then its probable no one will show. It might be cool to have something like what you mentioned. |

I am almost always logged into Skype. PM me if you want my info. As for a chat, it could come in handy. I have used them on other forums to great success, but don't remember ever seeing one here at WWG (although I haven't been around as long as many others). |

I am on Skype all the time too but of later (last 6month or so) I haven't been able to chatter. Maybe it could be rolled into the new website, now that's the ticket. Lord Abaddon of Wormwood |

Sometimes chat can be a security hole and you have to have some on constantly or else the bots or humans paid to do it, will fill it with links to spam. But Hirst Arts does it and I used to partake of it a lot but there was one asshole (who am I to speak, but at least I'm a nice asshole) who would constantly put in his 2 bit political opinion when 1) it wasn't allowed and 2) never got sanctioned for it. So I rarely visit HA's website and have not purchased anything in years. But I vote +1 for having a chat room as long as the subject matter sticks to Cardstock modeling and gaming, etc and the Off-Topic is kept to the forums. |

Thats the idea, just a chat for general rpg/card modelling. I go in to a couple of chats which are mainly rpg videogame related and they're usually quite peaceful compared to other chats.. ..I've found that RPGs seem to breed a more polite chatter. Compared to one I was in about Call of Duty ... jeez! |
