Kebabs or Pizza? You've obviously never tried our five star cuisine of a Kebab Pizza or the culinary genius that is Chicken Tikka and Kebab Pizza. Three whole countries in one mouthful and not one of them ours. Ahh, bless our land of multi-culturism and as much grease as you can fit on to a 10" dough disc! |

I've never been able to buy mutton outside of Wales in the UK (suspect it may have been the quality of the butcher rather than the location though). Stronger taste than lamb, and definitely a stew meat rather than a joint meat (or at the very least very slow roasting), but worth it I think. Eels? You can get them here. As I have a fish/seafood allergy I'm assuming eating them would be a bad thing Haggis is available over most of the UK now in supermarkets. Which kind of takes the fun out of it really... ![]() |

I've had black pudding in Ireland. I don't care much for it. The nastiest sounding thing I've eaten was lamb intestines wrapped around a stick and deep fired. Not a nice stick, but like a stick from the ground off a tree. I forget the Spanish name for it. But it wasn't bad at all. The nastiest thing I've ever eaten was a toss up between roasted Sheep Kidney and some cheese in France that tasted like toe jam smells. I'd be willing to try all of your dishes Grump, even though the eels in Jelly does not sound very appetizing. I never know, I may find a new favorite dish! |
