Anyone seen any of the Raging Heroes stuff up close? From previews all I can say is dayum.

Interesting, they do their tooling with CAD - much like the plastics from GW. I guess 3D printing is coming into its own.

Raging Heroes stuff is very nice. I pre-ordered the Lamassu before the GW hit-squad forced them to remove the Lamassu head from their range (the Manticore is still a very, very cool model).

So far I have cleaned the Lamassu and am about to start assembling. Opinions......... pretty darn good. Not quite the perfection that you find with ranges like Kingdom Death, but very nice cast nonetheless and their customer service and delivery was great.

I will be ordering their upcoming Sci-Fi ladies when they become available.

Highly recommended (as is Kingdom Death though their range is definitely NSFW).

Oi! Given that GW took their Lamassu from Assyrian sculpture it is likely that RH would have won if it went to court -


But it looks like they gave in without a fight.

The odd thing is that the Assyrians and Sumerians kind of used the Lamassu as Chaos repellent.... Now Lamashtu was a monster, and mother of monsters....

It will be interesting to see how Mantic approaches this problem with their Abyssal Dwarf monster.......

RH were in a no win situation. It doesn't matter whether or not they were in the right, GW have so much more resources they could break RH just by tying them up n legal proceedings. Given the choice of a) give in to the bullying tactic but stay in business, or b) burn out defending their position, Rh took the only sensible path.
Who ever said the legal system delivered Justice?

Well, my RH order arrived today, including the mantichore - wanna guess what head was packaged in as an extra?

The horns were slightly damaged, but on a free extra head? I ain't gonna complain.

Very clean castings otherwise, both metals and resin. And lots of extra bits going into my bits box.

Raging Heroes has started carrying the Shedu/Lamassu head again.


If the rumor that I have heard is true then GW tried another C&D order on some more Raging Heroes miniatures.

Going to court over one model was not worth it, going to court over more than one... we'll see you in court. Again, if the rumor is true.

I wonder which ones GW got annoyed with this time - the cyberwolves, the female commissars, the witch elves, the Wych Elves, or the female demon things?










I wish them well in court, whichever offended GW's delicate sensibilities. (If true - gamers gossip like a market full of fishwives.)

If it is true, I think that it is quite likely that even a British court will slap GW down with legal costs.

I have painted a fair number of those above - I painted up the first female Commissar up for a villain in Fallout, and have painted both the witch elves and the female demons for a friend's dark elf and chaos armies. (I am sad to report that the witch elves slaughtered my Revenants in a Kings of War battle. You'd think that they'd show a little gratitude.... ) The castings are amazingly clean and crisp, whatever you may think of the subject matter.

I, I, I am kind of ashamed to say that I want those figures, all for Mordheim. Two would go in my Reiklanders, the last would go into my Witch Hunters. (She is not a Sister of Sigmar!)
