And if so, how did it go? Are there any suggested tweaks or modifications you might suggest? I am running it next weekend to jumpstart a new D&D camapign. |

I have ran all of the scenic encounters and have enjoyed them all immensely. They definitely do not get enough discussion on the forums here. For this particular one, I ran this encounter what seems like forever ago. I was even a tester for it. IIRC, this was my first scenic encounter and I ran it twice; once and my party walked through it due to them using great tactics and I ran it a second time (slightly beefed up) with a different group and they had a struggle, but it was a challenge that they enjoyed. Both groups thought the concept was rather neat and then they were chomping at the bit to get more scenic encounters. They loved them so much that I petitioned for more from the powers at be, but I guess I was in a minority -- at least that is what I assumed based on nobody talking much about any of them. I wish that I could give you more specific input, but it has been a long time. |

I love pre-made encounters and was a big voice behind the scenes for more. If all of you go buy some of these right now it will boost both encounter and standee sales and therefore potentially open doors for more of them. Go now. What are you waiting for? |
