There's something I want to know about the second citizens standee pack.
On the pictures the miniatures have names on their bases.
Is there a printing option for them WITHOUT those names?

So, I haven't actually built the standees yet because I want to sit down and make cutfiles for them, and I'm torn about whether I want to convert 'em to a slightly different format so they work with my other standee bases... There's no way to print them without the text on the standees, but...

There are two methods documented for building the standees in the instructions. The simple method is to simply fold up the standee and base all in one, and the text will be showing in this case.

The second method looks like it might hide the names. You build a base separate from the standees, and the way it is constructed, there are parts of the base that look like they'll overlap the text on the standees.

I bought the standees knowing the text was there - I figure worst case I'll photoshop the text off.

So, I finally printed off a page of the Citizens II, made some cutfiles, and tried em out. It turns out most of my standees collection works by slotting them into a little foamcore square with a slit down the middle. These work just fine that way, and that seems to cover up the labels on the figures.

Sadly, I've only done the first page, which means my streets are now only filled with beggars. LOL. Time to get some others done so I can snap a not-so-depressing photo of the set.
