Well . . . crap! This set has WAY more models than I expected. The figure flats don't interest me, nor does the module itself, but that's a LOT of models, and they expand on the Gothic set too. I may just rethink that "pass" on modules position of mine. Thanks Andorax! Steve |

Heh, I have to say, when it comes to SiegeWorks it's a questionable gaming set, much more fun as a building set. It is rare for games to go into a siege setting (except for Wargaming), and even then, the biggest used pieces would most likely be the siege tower, battering rams, tents, and props. Most of the actual siege weapons would never even be seen in a fight as they would be safely behind the combat front lines. In the case of a defensive castle one or two of the larger ones might be placed on the walls or towers, depending on how much of the castle you actually have built for the game. As for ArenaWorks...just look at my pictures and you'll see it's a heavily used set for my builds. Most of the stone like blocks and short spina walls make great ruin pieces, as well as being useable for kitbashes into a variety of temple structures. As a set I find ArenaWorks makes a great city filler, it has many new small buidings, great for the slumier areas of cities and towns, as well as many new props and textures to play with. While it is interesting to note that I am likely to never build the risers, let alone a full sized arena, I will be kitbashing this set in the extreme when I start the second phase of my CWU buildings build. This is one set that has tonnes of uses for me...just not as it was originally intended, lol. Btw Andorax, very sorry for stealing your post for a way off topic discussion, forgot where I was posting for a moment there, now back to your regularily scheduled Missing Persons topic. |

Great information on the models I made for SB. Steve, you'll find that the modules are so chock-full of models that they really do stand as full-blown expansions to the base sets! Bob's done a fantastic job with the Missing Persons models - try it, you'l llike it!
