I'd have to honestly say that's MY main reason. I've always been a D&D player, going back over two decades now. I've studied some of the other systems...played a little. If White Wolf had an "open game license", I could probably write some pretty good modern stuff for World of Darkness...but they don't, and we don't have thousands of dollars to spend to be able to write licensed product for 'em. |
