Bob, Just thought you should know. It looks like the Game System License for D&D 4th Edition has been posted online. All the details can be seen The interesting part is section 6 of the Game System License. Basically you can sell 4th edition stuff after Oct 1st, and you can either sell 3.x or 4.0 versions of the "product line." Plus if you use anything in the core books (powers, monster stats, etc) without changing them, you can't reprint the core book information. You can only reference it. There's also a nice little clause in there that says: you can sell 4.0 stuff until we revoke the license then you must stop immediately.... Not that I think they would pull the rug out on anyone until they release 5.0..... |
