The only hard restriction in my schedule is obligations on April 14th, so I'm out that day. Did we head off back to the Mournlands after I left, or did I miss anything else besides the word on leveling up? Dyer is rather unhappy at the moment, and traveling will not help his mood. If needed though, he is going to want to pick up some things if we are headed out of town. |

I am hopeful someone will do a full write-up, but the main idea of what took place during the session: -Party returned to Sharn after the Mournland trip/Citadel being informed/lightning rail fiasco -Party got multiple leads that directed them towards a Daask warehouse to destroy -Party destroyed said warehouse while Daask members were out burning down Haven and the various residences/businesses that the PCs own -Party tracked down Scarlet Jax a traded knowledge of the forge (the PCs marked six locations on a map) for access to personal information about members of Daask and also a means of striking the big warehouse in town. -The part got to the warehouse only to find it basically abandoned due to them heading toward the Mournland in an airship fleet. -The party informed one of the potential heads of house Cannith (there are three of them fighting for control of the house) and she told the party she would offer compensation for Daask not obtaining the forge. -The party is now headed toward the forge |

With it being Easter weekend and the combination of family in town and tutoring in the morning, this weekend is shot. It sounds as though next weekend is as well, at least for Brian. What does everyone else have for schedule availability? Do you guys want to play the 14th or the 21st? |

Looks like family plans aren't happening tomorrow. Would we have a full group if we play tomorrow? If so, then I say we play this weekend and not next. I talked to Darren at Outpost today and he liked the idea of us running something for him there for Free RPG Day (Saturday, June 16th). I would love to have us make a showing there and maybe even recruit a few new players. I haven't ever had a chance to do this due to scheduling conflicts, but this year it should be fine. Anyone else interested? |

Definately sounds interesting. We should spend some time brainstorming options when we next get together. I imagine I can be free, but its often hard to predict my weekends that far out. Even if I can't be there on the Saturday, I think it would be fun working together to plan something really cool. Maybe even do some early promotions for the day. If we spark interest and maybe find a new player or something at the same time, that would be great. |

U-Fest is next weekend, so I won't be able to make it; the weekend after that is Easter Seals walk, but should be available by start time on May 5th.

The board games were definitely a good time. Did you test out any others after I left? As for the next few weekends. I'm likely out of the 28th. At best I could maybe do after 2pm, but that would make the following weekend less likely. The 5th is an unknown for me at this point, as I'm waiting to hear back on some other schedules which will determine when I'm free that day. The 12th is so far okay, but I may be a little at later as I'll have to finish up something in the early am before I can head out. Back to the Free Game Day event as a side note, since I don't think it came up on Saturday. Any further details and what are you thinking? I didn't know if you were thinking of running something, collaborating on something, or recruiting to have more than one thing happening. |

Boardgames played yesterday: Carcassonne, Kill Doctor Lucky, Small World and Pandemic. They were all a blast. Jennifer and I even played all but Kill Doctor Lucky again today (it is 3-7 players). We have two more games being delivered this week (Settlers of Catan and Ascension). I am thinking of having a semi-regular game night for board games...like maybe a monthly Friday thing. Free RPG Day slipped my mind yesterday. I am open to any ideas. Darren at Outpost said he could get us the adventure(s) early to prep for the day. I am sure he would love more than one running things. I think our goals should be to have a good time and, if lucky, recruit a stand up player or two. |

Saturday really reminded me of many a day spent playing Diplomacy, Zombies!!!, and a few other similar games. Not only did I end up looking up a few of those games when I got home, I also looked at the expansions for Small World and Pandemic. The only down side was realizing the number of games that I can no longer clearly remember or that I do remember but can not find anymore. As long as I remain free, I'd be happy to run one of new/different stand alone adventures from Free RPG Day roster. The other thing I thought about would be to maybe off to feature a stand alone Eberron one shot to offer as part of the day. Then again, I also have a number of old one shots from different games I could dust off to show. Between those options, maybe some board games and whatever anyone else may do...I think it could be a very good time. |

I think it is currently suppose to be around 16lbs for the box. Glad you enjoyed the board game stuff. I am seriously thinking about hosting a monthly Friday night beer and board games night. As for the free-rpg day, I am sure that Darren would love to have us doing anything over at his store. When the time gets closer I will see what he thinks about letting us have a table or two for the day. An Eberron one-shot is a neat idea too. Maybe we should go all out and make character sheets and whatnot. We could use tons of cool terrain and minis too. I am excited for this too. Maybe we should try and iron out details sooner rather than later and then present our ideas to Darren at Outpost. |

I'm having some difficulty getting a clear idea of restrictions in my schedule this coming weekend. Right now, best bet is that I am good for the normal start time but would need to leave by 3:30 at the lastest. |

Since we can't game tomorrow, make sure to go out and enjoy free comic book day. I am debating going at midnight to my local shop (Jesse James' Comics is the place to be). Also, I would love it if you guys could spruce up the wiki page a little. I am thinking about adding more stuff but want you guys to add to it too, so it isn't just me creating the world. Don't worry about adding something that I don't approve. I can always change it if it goes against my plans. |

I've been spending my free time this morning messing around with writing up once shot ideas, just for the heck of it. One dealing with the All Flesh Must Be Eaten rules and one with 4e/Eberron. As work is winding down, I'm finding more mental energy for creative endeavors. So, if you would like me to add to the pages, I can do a bit. Just give me a general direction of what you are looking for, be it cannon information about Eberron added in or homemade information fleshing out aspects of the city of Sharn. Just let point me somewhere that would be useful. If you're interested, I can easily go back through my Dyer notes and develop the NPCs or spots that I every once in a while threw in if nothing else. Another thing I'd be happy to do would be create a few new factions in the city (Daask gang bosses, Dragon Below cult leaders, seedy members of the university, etc). |

The foundation is there for the basics of what I had in mind, but don't feel limited by it. Just check out the main page of the wiki to see what I mean. I appreciate any extra help. It will motivate me to work on it too. Things that come to mind are: -organizing the adventure log posts into a bullet point list for quick reference -charactersheet group development -flesh out organizations -etc. |

So, looking forward to the Free RPG Day, here are some general thoughts. I figure I would just throw this out there for some feedback. From the games listed ( if you haven't looked), I'd be interested in running samples of A Time of War: BattleTech RPG/Shadowrun Quickstart flipbook (mainly shadowrun, I have not BattleTch experience). Conspiracy X Quickstart & Adventure Warhammer 40K Roleplay Only War Adventure, "Eleventh Hour" I would also be willing to do the D&D 4e quickstart, but I figured I focus on some of the other games as the D&D is easier to get interest in. This would assume I can at least get a look at any included materials a day in advance and hopefully a few days. Even without advance look at books or in addition to anything from the free day list, I'd be interested in running a quickstart/demo of All Flesh Must Be Eatten. Would any of you be interested in trying out these games (if nothing else, that might give me an idea of general interest). I still think a demo of Eberron would be a good idea for the group to show off and maybe recruit, but it makes sense to at least give Aaron first shot at running that (I'd be happy to be a back up, 2nd round, or help in planning though). If several of us are around that day, I think it would be fun to just set up camp at Outpost, take turns running some different things, hang out, and see what comes of it. Any other thoughts? |

I would prefer to run one and play in one if at all possible. I will run an Eberron game. This does not mean that it would need to be the only Eberron game. Brian, you seem to have interest in a ton of stuff. If you end up wanting to run an Eberron session, I would be in for playing in it. Other than that, as I said before, I think our main goal should be two things: Enjoy the day having fun Recruit new players These don't have to be done using 4e Eberron, but at least Eberron or 4e might help the second. |
