Sure, that would be cool! Actually, I was hoping the first SpaceWorks expansion might include alternative hull pieces for First Light, so you could have some variety in the external looks of the spacecraft, even if it's the same rooms and corridors on the inside.

The main problem with a truely "alien" look is that it would typically involve a lot of curves! Much harder to make a model with nice smooth curves, than one with straight hull plates if you're starting out with flat cardboard to begin with...

Yamaha's "" paper models are quite promising in showing what can be done with curves, and I would LOVE to see Denny move towards a better use of curves in his models (the Maiden is a great start!), but it does complicate things for everyone involved...

The more i think about this i REALLY think this would be a good Set.

It is something litterly boggeling my mind, no company i can find makes anything like an alien Terrain really (well Sci-Fi supply made some Alienesque walls and so did Grendel) but both are REALLY hard to find.

And you would think that with the WH40K crowd, and the Trynad people this would be something of a natural for a look to their terrain, it could go for Space Hulk and a few other games (like Bug Hunters, starship troopers, possibly even Farscape (make Moya with it?) and just for people who like to battle alien Vs Predator type stuff in fun games), But i can't seem to find anyone who has done something like this!

If done commerically i think it has a marekt, but none seems to have done it.... odd in my mind, but not really i think it just goes to show how the Sci-Fi market gets ignored in a lot of things.

It is so fractioned. This would work great for a number of games, universed but not in others, some it works, others it doesn't. So no one takes the risk to make it becuase they don't think they will get a big enough market for it.
Why i think Sci-fi scenery gets neglected for Fantasy, becuase it doens't matter what fantasy world you are in Middle Earth, almost any of the D&D worlds (Darksun would be a odd one out) Faerun, Greyhawk, Eberron, and Just about any other Sword and Sorcery game world a castle is a castle and has all of the same basic stuff, so any company can make it and it has a market, becuase it isn't specific.

WWG did a really good job of makeing Generic Sci-Fi, something that would work in almost any world and not feal out of place, but not tied to a specific...
