I always assumed the Podtel somehow folded flat like the other SwiftScenics offerings...but looking at it again I'm less sure. Can anyone shed some light on it for me? |

It doesn't fold up, no. I guess I should explain why. At first, it was a fun project I did in my spare time--I challenged myself to see what I could do in 24 hours. You can read about it here: http://www.ebbles.com/2011/07/the-24-hour-challenge/ http://www.ebbles.com/2011/08/checking-into-the-podtel/ It wasn't even supposed to be a commercial product or even a SwiftScenics release to begin with, but when Denny saw it, he encouraged me to polish it up for sale on the WWG storefront. We put it in SwiftScenics for 2 reasons--it's where people look for quick build scenery, and because you only need one Podtel and all of the parts are big and easy to build, it kind of evens out in the end. So, that's where it ended up. The rings don't need to be glued on and can be stored separately, but other than that, it doesn't collapse or fold flat. Hope that helps! |

Good to know, thanks. The fact that the rings can be left separate is a bonus, storing something a foot tall and 10 inches in diameter is a tall order. |
