I'm not usually a fan of dice towers but I love the Chronometer conversion. Are there any plans to do a Corporate or Downtown version? Maybe disguise it as a water tower. I'd be happy with a kitbash. If not, I'll attempt my own. |

Looking at the corp. tower. I suspect you can easily do a physical bash of the tower, as all you are really doing is replacing the tower roof with the dice tower insert. The texture might be a bit dark but as it is inside the tower I Think it will work. (Argh, now I may have to get Mayhem Corporate just to try this) |

I've got my Corporate dice tower worked out. Eagles on three sides and air conditioning outlets at the back. The dice will land on a balcony below the outlets. That way I can limit the windows to the bottom of the tower and under the workings. I'll be building it very soon to ensure the ramp and balcony line up. |

with the current project being mansions of madness I'm creating a dice tower that fits on the outside of the mansion it serves two purposes. The clock hands actually work so that the "keeper " will turn the clock hands each turn on the back of the clock (in other words there's a clock on both sides) so that the players can see the time it will be, each turn is one hour, specific things happen or are revealed at each hour in the game. the dice tower will be further back towards the keepers side of the table and the dice themselves will come tumbling out into a tray where the players can also use as a dice tray for their rolling. Once I'm finished with this project I want to start building a mayhem city(again) with several dice towers throughout the city. This is where that file came from. As you might have noticed the building in that file was kit bashed from several buildings taking architectural features such as Windows from one building and adding him to another to create variety. With the city I want to try out the box nesting method where everything fits in a large box and each box is just nested in the next box so that you can have the entire city in one box for storage.and have a variety of sizes of buildings giving the city a more realistic look. |

I'm hoping to get to my Dice towers next week. I should be able to post some photos soon and compare notes. My solution to making the images unusable to anyone who hasn't bought the relevant models, is to photograph the complete finished item at a slightly oblique angle and a realistic distance. That way you see enough to appreciate the results but would be hard pressed to cut and paste the textures. |
