Thought I'd start a thread about my wormhole conversion process, and also to allow anyone that is currently working on it to coordinate. It took me a couple of hours to do the Blue carrier tonight, but I'm also doing something new, and making a PDF with the registration marks, a complete GSD file, and an outline GSD, as squirmydad suggests. It's taking me a bit longer to make all three files than my normal get'r done method, but I'll update this thread as I go, ship by ship over the next week or two. I expect to have it done within 2 weeks time. I'm proofing as I go, and that takes the most time of all, but at least you know you'll be getting a truly finished set of files when I'm done!

I'll pass em along to WWG soon as I wrap up the set.

Also, I need to point out that I'm only doing the full sized versions. I made one of the half-sized models by scaling down the print (a corvette? I believe), and while I can see the attraction, I much prefer the larger models, personally. Additionally, I've seen discussions on utilizing different scales, and as there appears to be no other truly preferred size aside from the default one, I think this is the best option.

At first I thought:" Wow, that's great!" but now I'm really pissed because when you're finished I won't have any more reasons NOT to buy a CraftROBO...

Missiles are done, and most of the Hammerhead. Think my laserjet is busted, as I found red toner all inside of it, and then a refil went awry in my inkjet, and my hand is now half black. lol Oh man, combined with some wife aggro tonight, and it's been one hell of a day. Hopefully, I can get the Hammerhead done tomorrow. Night!

EDIT: I couldn't sleep, so now the hammerhead is done, and test built. NOW, I'm goin to bed. ;-D

One more fleet peice, and I'll begin on the game components! This'll be the hard part I believe; I haven't even looked at the files yet, so here's to hoping they were designed with the same margins as the fleets!

Alrighty, Halloween party cleanup is about 50% done, and I expect to have the rest finished tomorrow night. I'm taking the week off to go to Fall In, in Gettysburg this year (Got a room on the pool!), but my laptop will be with me, so progress will be made, but there probably won't be an update for about a week.

What a vacation this is gonna be! Indoor swimming pool, Tiki Bar about 30 feet from my room, nice restaraunt about 60 feet from my room, 24/7 Historical wargaming, go-cart track, arcade and pizza joint just outside of the vendor area... and my lovely wife of almost 11 years is coming too.... It really brings a tear to my eye, especially when I see this wargamer girl in a bikinni:

So, I'm working on wormhole, but a bit behind schedule, due to the party. And omg what a party, I can't even put it all to pen. Just another one of those situations that simply has to be experienced to be understood. I can say that hot girls + hot tub + beer ='s awesomeness.... *cries a single tear of joy*

Alrighty, I'm back from Fall In and ready to get back to work. I'll continue with my updates as I wrap stuff up!

Gameaids folder is now complete, and I'm moving into the ToS Units folder nao. This one might take me a bit. I have to build it as I go, as I don't have my head wrapped around the 2-d/3-d thing yet. I presume I'm going to follow the 3d build, as if you're using a robo cutter, odds are, you can afford to now spend the time to put it all together properly, eh?

The TOS Unit trays are taking a while, due to several "white" edge areas that become apparent when making the silhouettes. I have to manually re-line (draw new color matchine lines for) the entire sheet. I've only got 2 of them done so far I'm afraid, but I am working on it, although I'm taking the weekend off as it's my daughter's birthday. See ya'll next week!

Sound to me like there has been some miscommunication. I, too, hope that this can be resolved. It is because TerrainlinX supported machine cutting that I bought the machine.
