I went to grab these for an upcoming printing run and the links to Hex's files seem to be dead. Does anyone have a backup copy of them?

I've combined Denny's 6" wall box with Hexplodinator's wallbox for a better fit. Building it now.

I have build a box with 2 tiles (from 6"), 4 walls (from 6"), 2 post (4way) and reinforced them. This box can be us on TLX table as "Big pillar" for bridge or sewers foundation.

Ok, i show my building method by step

Stage1: préparation
-1 tiles from 6" (at the bottom of the photo)
-1 tiles from 6" print at 101% for the top of the box (in center of the photo)
-4 walls from 6" cut with notch
-2 post 4way cut to obtain 4 box edge with notch
-reinforcements wall come from 2 tiles scrap, and for the top of the box a mounting template from 6" tile


Stage2: mounting the box base
I have stick (with point of superglue) the wall reinforcements with the normal tile, and for the 101% tile i reinforced them with mounting template from 6"


Stage3: reinforced wall ajustement


Stage4: stick wall edges + grey marker


Stage5: stick wall + grey marker


Stage6: reinforced wall ajustement


Stage7: stick wall edges and the top of the box + grey marker finition

I have just finish 4 interior box variants after some modification with Gimp and Open office.


I have delete the down of the box (less printing) and add boiler room or high voltage doors (non accessible zone)

This are great. Then I wonder how to do this myself and run slap bang into the fact that I don't know how to drive graphics software.

Any chance each TLX set could include its own box covers?
Hopefully all that's required is to drop a relevant texture onto a rectangular template.

I have not found a solution for the tiles (possibly to stock it as a bac of compact disc ?)

A second possible alternative

I really like the concept of this...especially the last one. You could, in theory, have a multi-leveled structure containing many pieces. This could make storage boxes be able to be customized to the space in which they are stored. (all the while looking like the setting they go with AND being able to be used on the gaming table).

Ditto that! This is going to make my storage look fantastic instead of of a total mess. It inspires me to keep building instead of feeling so tired about how much more I need to do on projects. I just love it!

I don't know why this didn't occur to me before, but these are also (if you don't cut out the open space in the front) a relatively cheap way to store minis... I'm going to be cranking out a bunch of these things for exactly that purpose.

Hmmm... I was going to relabel a bunch of the lids for easier reference on what the boxes contain.(Roofs, Trusses, Props, etc.) But I wanted it to match the existing boxes and I couldn't figure out what font was currently being used for the writing.

Anyone have a clue as to what Font was used for those labels on the side of the lids?

I got to playing with your box design for some SOH boxes and found that the 6 inch rails, like the 6x6 tiles did not box well. While looking at the stack of tiles without a box and the rails with out a box it hit me.

I used the 1 tile and four rails to make a short "tile and rail box" by plugging 4 " rails in to a 6x6 tile I could create stack sets 4 tiles and 4 rails that would then stack on each other. As soon as I get a working digital camera I'll take a picture.

That is ingeniously simplistic. I will be doing this.
