Hi guys,

I have just started a new Dark Sun campaign and would love a TLX set that could make middle eastern buildings and dusty roads, market stalls etc. This set could also be used by players of modern table top warefare games.

And an update to Arenaworks or am I being greedy now ?

I haven't heard anything being worked on that fits that build, but honestly just using the tiles and props could give a great amount of headway into making a decent layout for Dark Sun. The tiles would be an easy conversion (just take the gridless and add your own 6x6 grid over them at a reduced scale in GIMP or Photoshop) and the props don't need a conversion to work.

Your assuming I have some degree of skill with photoshop, gimp etc

On a scale of 1 to 10, my skill's at most a -5.

I can open a file and then stare blankly at all those buttons...

I am always in awe of the work done by everyone with these programs.

I tried to generate a dead grass texture for use in my GW campaign (sort of like the semidesert and bare earth dry grass textures here). I put together some script-fu for the GIMP to generate a very nice cross-thatch pattern that mimics the cut/snapped grass in the background nicely but I lack the artistic skill needed to draw in some individual blades of grass, little islands of green, etc.
