I've found 1 printer that actually lists cardstock in the list of print media, that's the Oki C711 series printer, but it's pricey at a list price of $999. That's not to say other printers won't handle cardstock, but the Oki is actually built to handle it.

Currently, I'm using an HP Business Jet to printer on card, but it's been hard on the printer and I need to get to the shop for maintenance. Course, it's an inkjet not a laser so it doesn't fit your request.

I'm seriously looking at the Oki though, even with the $999 list price!

Do you have any problems when scoring and folding? I was looking at those Xerox solid ink printers at one time, but had heard mixed results from folks when folding the finished printouts.[/quote]

The only issue I ran into is some times the 'ink' separates at a fold but a little edging and it's ok. Mostly if I get a separation like that it is my fault on the scoring and fold; I made a double score line or didn't fold on the score. Stuff I do late at night after a work day, have learned to not be in a hurry on those nights.

Over all I am very happy with the results, the ink can scratch off if a cat or other such item decides to land on it with points and force. ( My cat jumped on a 4 level TLX build out )

Those where the carts that came in the printer, which as it turns out are only half full. While researching a good refillable/CIS injet setup, I found a chip that you can put in the 325 that allows indefinite refilling. Gonna give it a try, becuse the 325 prints exact measurements and looks good, and eats cardstock all day. Hopefully the chip will save me form having to put this bad boy in the trash and start a whole new set up.[/u]

Now that is a serious improvement!

Got the chip in with much excitement. Installed it and, nothing. Now the printer won't recognize any toner cartrige and the computer won't even recognize the printer is on. Looks like it's back to the drawing board for a good wwg setup that i can run for more than a single project at a time.
