Happy New Year!

I’ve put two other project builds on hold so I could start this new project inspired by Privateer’s Warmachine: Wrath event. It’s all about trench wars. I’ve always wanted to build a modular, interchangeable trench game board. This is the year. Each main section of the trench is one foot square, 4.5 inches tall and the trenches are four inches wide. Of course I’m making it up as I go.

Thought this would be a simple build. Not really.

I kitbashed the trenches using the Titan sets. I was surprised to find the ground tiles untouched in the Titan Streets set. (I would love to see an option for basic ground tiles available in all WWG sets.) I also used the Urban Mayhem: Wasteland and Hell Works ground tiles for my scorched ground level, kill zone. The ladders are from the rezollution set. This is my favorite style of all the WWG ladders for bunkers. I’ve placed samples of my floors, walls and war torn ground tiles in the gallery that I’ll be using in this trench build.

These are my first two sections completed? One still needs a battlement on the ground level, but I’m not ready to commit on what kind of structure I going to use throughout the project. I will need to make these sections stackable for storage. I hope these photos will give you a better idea of the direction and the massive build I’m going for.
