Got both Friar sets as soon as I got home from work. Beautiful set. Only question I have is which transparency to use for the first floor windows - green or blue? I suppose though that it would depend on whether you're intending to have the build more as a notable interior set or 'just another' building on the concourse that the players have to fight their way around... Course, since its TLX the wall can instantly be switched to the other color version if the action moves to the other side of the wall... or am I just thinking too much into this? [chuckle at self]

My wishes added for your family's health as well... Take some rest to recharge those batteries - just not too much - we wants our Airship!

Happy the Feisty Friar was available to download. It is a fantastic set ... what a wonderful end to the day. I couldn't have asked for more.

I understand your problem. I originally never intended to include transparencies for the windows, because of this. It was only because a lot of people on the forums here asked me about it that I included them.

Personally, I think I would go with the blue ones. From the outside, it won’t look strange to have blue-ish windows, even if the interiors are green. On the other hand, green windows from the inside would look a bit strange.

I went with the blue; just a personal preference for that color I guess. Here's the first wall I built:

I'd like to give a BIG congrats to Tomas by the way for an awesome release!

Tomas started with WWG by helping us do some key conversions to TerrainlinX. He masterfully manipulated graphic assets and basically fit a square peg into a round hole time and time again. When he started on the Friar, he was a bit nervous about his abilities but he soon proved to himself and to all of us that he has a real gift for creating terrain. He really poured his heart into this one and it shows.

Really proud of you Tomas and I think the Friar is an amazing piece of art. It's full of character and mystery. I wish I could shrink myself down and pay it a visit for a few pints!

Tomas, Denny, this is an amazing set! I can't wait to build it. I've printed off some props today, but other more 'real world' work calls and I won't be able to build anything until the weekend. sadness. Denny, I hope you are all feeling better. So many sick people at work (crosses fingers)... back, back!

Is it bad that I wanted it, got it as soon as I could, looked through it, and immediately thought how much I want to see the other sets coming out in this line since this one came out so well?

Purchased! Looking forward to doing some builds for this, although from a wargaming standpoint I may build mine as permanent structures with removable stories to make them more durable.

Boiled down it came to - Excellent!

I was very happy to see the transparencies of the windows, and will likely be using them on other sets as well - I love crown glass panes.

This is likely to become one of my two most used fantasy sets, along with Thoumont's - very flexible.

Tomas did a fantastic job with these releases. Now I just need to ruin them.... (Mordheim needs these....)
