I had some resin Egyptian scenery that I used for a couple things. I think I may still have the obelisk.

Looking forward to this to fit in with pulp, and hopefully some sci fi as well. There was a Ziggurat set a while ago as well as field camp etc, and with a bit of luck they will be able to be combined.

I'd really like to see this set have an 1880s sort of passenger barge for the Nile ... put in some nasty water beasties as well. The tiles could be interesting ... lots of reeds.

Would be nice to have an oasis too ... just dreaming.

don't forget obelisks and camps of travelers to go beside the oases

basically, cut a deal with the Egyptian government to transform everyone and everything down to the last grain of sand into a fantasy/pulp/horror version of themselves and pop it into a pdf.

So this is a SwiftScenics set and not TLX?

There is another guy out there that has some Egyptian stuff, very "photo-realistic" but a bit complicated in assembly and doesn't match well with my huge amount of WWG stuff. I am very much looking forward to seeing this new set, my wife is a nut about Ancient Egypt and I do Biblical Historicals (New Kingdom Egyptions, Hyksos, Hittites, and Libyans) so can't wait...

Well I just want to say I find it hard waiting to see what you guys come with next. I eagerly anticipate the next set, whatever it may be.

I have been piecing together stuff for for my massive 49 sq ft playable area for quite sometime. Those that know me on here know I build gargantuan layouts. Unfortunately that has led me astray from worldworks and has forced my interest into other publishers for the last few months. I am very happy to say that the much needed egyptian/desert genre crowd is patiently awaiting this release. I look forward to being able to post more layouts that have worlworks games content as a major part of that. Thanks Matt for picking up the mantle for a genre that is summarily absent (from any publisher). I know it will be done with the highest quality if you are part of it. Big fan of your work. Let's see those teasers.

Yeah, was talking to a guy on FB the other day and he's assumed WWG has all but stopped because of the Video Game...

that would be unfortunate that they completely shut down their cardstock publishing to develop a video game. They have a great product here and a really loyal fan base, but yes, it does seem that they have completely stopped production of the cardstock stuff.

Not stopped, just slowed. Pharaoh's Descent is effectively done and Necroblock Quarantine is pretty far along as well. And of course we have kitbash releases coming out almost every month.
