Hi All

I have been trying to purchase some more UHU Office Glue Pens (45ml). My regular supplier doesn't stock them anymore.

I ordered 5 from an Amazon supplier, but they sent me the wrong pens. These were 50ml and with some blunt, white netting delivery mechanism that would be totally inappropriate for cardstock modelling. I need the standard yellow chisel tip delivery system for accuracy and control. The supplier has been very good, saying that they had been advised by UHU that they were functionally the same as the office pens but that if I was unhappy they would give me full refund. Or I could keep the pens and they would give me massive discount on them.

Anyone know if the glue in these pens (simply labelled UHU Pen, 50ml) is the same as that in the Office Pens ? If so, I could decant the glue from the new pens into some old empties. If not though, I have little desire to keep and use them.

So it appears that, in the UK at least, these pens are getting a little hard to source. Anyone else noticing this ? Any suggestions for a good reliable UK supplier would be gratefully received.

It's not to my knowledge. I've switched to the UHU Twist and Glue. Good stuff!

As an alternative, is Zip Dry anywhere near you? It's *really* good adhesive.

+1 for UHU Twist and Glue.

I use a combination of the Twist & Glue and the UHU Stic for 99% of my paper terrain building. The rest is super glue.

Just a quick resurrection of this thread. I notice the UHU Twist and Glue comes in two different bottles, one with green writing and one with black. Are they functionally the same, or is one better than the other.

I have been using the Zip Dry glue , which works pretty well. However it is $15 a bottle in the UK and the bond isn't as strong as the late lamented Office Glue. If anyone knows a cheaper source here, I would be interested.
