Hello,

I'm trying to find a glue that dries slow enough to give you time to adjust pieces of whatever project you are working on. Can somebody suggest a glue?

If you wanted to you could always use standard white glue.
If you spread it on thin it works fine, and can be repositioned a large number of times.

You just have to be careful not to put it on too think or it will warp.

Thank you. However, I tried white glue and it dried too much for me to repossition my piece in about a minute.

I apologize for not saying that in my original message (as well as what I am going to say after this).

I have also tried a glue stick, tacky glue, and Krazy Glue. None of them worked.

Would scrapbooking glue possibly do what I need it to?

I use for a good, solid bond, but it dries really quickly and has a tendency to warp.

To minimize warping on sandwich folds and allow me a bit of time to reposition, I use . It doesn't give as good of a hold as the Scotch, unfortunately. It also dries kinda brittle, so using it on parts that'll be bent or folded (like posts) isn't a good idea. I don't know if this would be slow enough drying for you, though.

Ok, how much time are you talking about waiting for before you reposition items?

Are we talking 1 minute or 10 minutes later that you want to move things.

There are repositionable glue sticks out there, but I've never really used any of them but the Elmer's washable glue stick. The problem I've had with them is they don't hold up over the long term... Eventually the glue breaks down and the pieces come apart.
