I've pulled back on my plans and am working on releasing some not-modular, not-fold-flat buildings as soon as possible, primarily to learn how to get all the packaging bits done, and how to get things onto One Bookshelf. I'm making textures that would do fine in a TLX-like package, and I'm intentionally designing interior textures, even if the first models don't make use of them. Tonight I will be making instructions and assembling my building, at which point I'll try to get it up for sale!

Phase two will be to take some of these models and make them support interiors. That might mean fold-flat. That might mean just removable bits. We shall see...

You know you can always design the first system that uses mini-magnets...

There was a magnet-based terrain kit on Kickstarter a while ago, but it only raised about 2k and failed. On the other hand it might have been due to insufficient coverage since I only found out about it long after it had run it's course.

That Battlesystems thing is what Terraclips should have been.

I found the plastic clips overly obtrusive and visually unappealing. The builds look like Dalmatians. Denny blamed it once on flash, so I looked online for photos taken without flash and the clips were still too obvious.

They weren't as bad as some people made them out to be, but there was room for improvement.
