Hi all. I'm a bit confused about doors.

1. Does anyone have a good tip on how to cut them precisely, or do you just eyeball it most of the time?

2. If you do accidentally trim too much out of a doorway (thereby creating a space between the door and the door frame) what do you do?

3. The doors that come in the DOORS section of CWU... what do you do with them? Since the walls are double cardboard and the doors are only one-sided, what is their purpose? Can you use them to correct mistakes as noted above?

1. Most of the time I think people eyeball the curved ones, and use a straight edge on the straight ones (that's what I do anyway). With practice, you'll get better in time.

2. Not quite sure what you mean by trim too much out of a doorway, a little clarification might help. If you mean the cut was a little off, this shouldn't affect that specific door (other than how it looks).

3. The extra doors and windows printouts are for putting doors and windows where you want to, when you print out the blank wall (no windows and doors), you can paste the doors and windows as you want. If you look at the doors pdf a little more closely, you'll note that technically all of the doors have a reverse, they just use different borders. I don't see why you can't use one of these doors to patch a mistake though.

Edit: if you want to place all of your own doors and windows, just print out the blank walls only, and leave the pre-windowed, and doored walls. They are all the same size dimensionwise, just with different visuals, so they are fully kitbashable (kitbash is altering a set to suit your needs or wants).

Edit 2: the first door on the door sheet is the only one that doesn't actually have a reverse side, I just used one of the two doors underneath it for my builds, though this still leaves you with one extra door with no reverse .
