Okay, the new year is upon us so I was thinking: What New Year's resolutions do we have when it comes to gaming?? This year our group finished our three year Iron Kingdom's campaign and I started our Warlord CCG campaign, so we had some good times. However, there is so much more I wanted to do. So, here is my list of things to do for 2006:

1. Start up the next phase of the Iron Kingdoms campaign for the group.

2. Learn this damn VS. CCG game I got and at the same time DON'T BUY NEW CARDS.

3. Start a Warmachine faction and get to the local FLGS on Weds to play.

4. Start a small mini campaign of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay.

3. Have someone in gaming group do a Mordheim campaign with me.

4. Play Heroscape again.

5. Add Wings of War to my gaming library.

6. Get Games of Thrones board game.

7. Citadels. Buy it or forget about it.

8. Finish my Warcraft 3 single player campaign.

9. Finish my Baldur's Gate 2 game.

10. Start Planescape PC GAME.

11. Finish my WWG castle.

12. Buy a few more WWG sets.

13. Read all the Fire and Ice novels by G.R.R. Martin.

14. Finish Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell novel.

15. Finish American Gods by Gaiman.

16. Play some 100 and 200 pt major battle scenarios of Pirates of the Caribbean - Barbary Coast.

17. Finish painting six miniatures that I have been putting off.

18. If I accomplish number 3, paint those too.

19. Beat this year's record of getting two people (that I I know of as I post to several message boards where they claim they are going to buy some sets) to buy more WWG product.

20. Play some more Doomtown CCG.

21. Never give up! Never surrender!

Wow, a trip through the time machine!?!? Okay, I know I do that too, so assuming you meant 2006 and not 1996, I want to:

1. Get a few units actually painted for Napoleonic skirmish gaming. (figures are just sitting in the box right now, need to get them painted)

2. Build all the WWG products I bought in the past year!

3. Finish my Basque Roads scenario for Fire As She Bears

4. Run at least one VBAM/FASB campaign - and run it with somebody besides me.

5. Build at least half of the biplane kits I bought for Canvas Eagles.

6. Finish painting my wife's Slaughterloo army.

7. Finish building and painting my own Slaughterloo undead army.

8. Get caught up on all Flintloque modules.

9. Get caught up on all Heroscape modules.

10. Double the number of hours available for gaming each week.

If I get through a third of these, I will be very happy indeed. Of course, I gave up new years resolutions for Lent several years ago

LOL, thanks, I fixed it! Tried to shave off a few yaars off my age. Damn, I need more sleep.
