As I mentioned a few months ago I was able to pick up some Christmas Village decorations over to Dollar Tree. My original purpose was for lighting the Maiden (which I still intend to do, next time I build her), but since I was there and they were there and they were cheap I bought a bunch of them.

Having decided (finally) on my next WW project, a harbor for Five Fingers in the Iron Kingdoms, and knowing that the Iron Kingdoms does have gaslights I decided to once again scavenge bits from the Goth Realms sewers t line the quayside with. Putting it together it occured to me that it would be quite possible to hide the wires inside of the hollow sewer sides (ye gads, I have commited sewer sides!) and the battery cases inside of convenient buildings.

Having spent a happy afternoon puttering away I can say yhat yes, the idea does indeed work. (And anyone suspecting that I spent yesterday evening reading the works of Victorian authors are quite correct in their surmise. It may be a small portion of time before I fully shake off the effects.)
