I am going to buy steel plates ($5-$10ish although I do not have any of them yet) to make my baseboards out of. I figure that I will put one kind of terrain on each side, of maybe felt the bottom if they prove to be too scratchy.

Puting magnets on the bottoms requires that you put a cardstock base there, so I am adding tabs to the bottoms of the models and puting light cardboard there for added stability. This magnet idea has led to some interesting refrigerator decor.

When i am done i hope to be able to mount the assembled layer one stuff on the wall.

For multi floor stuff I am planning to add a 'lip' around the bottom and a card board insert for the floor as well. This is pretty important because I am combining the VW with the Pubs and Inns interrior so that my games can quickly move indoors if need be.

I looked at several other kimds of magnets, many of them were rather blocky and mush thicker than i wanted to use. However, the company you mentioned does have a rather thin circle that might work well in combination with some foamboard to balance them out.
