This set looks great. I'm picking it up today. It looks like RPGNow's finally got it up, but there server is running really slow. Must be all of the pent up demand for Skull Cove! Great job.

I hope you guys own stock in ink suppliers...  This is gonna soak it up by the gallon!  Have you thought of connecting up with the ink suppliers?  Maybe a link to them from here, with a small kick-back?  Hmmm...  ::)

I just finished going through the instructions for the set's many, many pieces!  Holy guacomole!  You've been very, very busy!  Now it is my turn...  I should finish making all the pieces I want/need in, oh, say, 18 months!...  I'll be lucky if my printer lasts until June.  Thanks, Gentlemen:  my local office supply store, and the ink seller company, thank you -- all the way to the bank!  Cheers, Mates!   ;D

Multi level is good. My favorite moments when using terrain is when the fight incorporates situations that would be harder to visualize in a two dimensional format. (Gah! Me hair just went all pointy! ) Seriously 3D fights are a liot more interesting, making the advantage of height visible, and leading to some interesting scenes. (The dwarf rolling under the table that the swashbuckling villain is standing on, then throwing it over, only to have the villain perform an agile flip onto the chair...) If I ever get around to building the sewer I have planned for Gothic Realms (main reason I got the set) there will me a fight involving PCs in the effluent doing battle with invading goblins and a sewer troll on the ledges.)

Most of the projects that I am working on have multiple levels and tiers.

With SW: LSC I am planning out several models, one involving a series of caverns from Cave Works and a cellar built with Gothic Realms where the largest cavern has several docks and ships hidden inside, (Plus rope bridges and 2 waterfalls. ) Above the caves and cellar is an inn built using IW: P&I.  I was originally planning this for an event this Spring, but it will have to wait for Summer now. Part of the beasty is finished, and it is already fairly massive. The insulation foam I used is 2 6'x2'x2" sheets, one is cut in half and stacked to make 5 levels total. Inn 1st floor, inn ground floor, cellar, cave 1 and the double height cave 2, which has a small sub level built into it halfway down. Most of the underground is set up so that I will only need to remove the Inn and 1 other layer in play.

Inn cellar and Caves 1 are one tiered level with the caves leading off and down rather than beneath the cellar, with the caves doubling back around and under the cellars for the double height lower cave. Taking off the cellar/cave 1 set reveals the caves in the upper portion of caves 2 as well as the hidden cove.

The foam is glued to 1/4 inch Masonite for strength.

Hopefully by the time it is complete, I will have a digital camera, I bought a $20 one  from Office Max, but the pictures are much too muddy to discern anything. (I think that the flash and the camera are not properly synchronized, with the flash going off before the shutter opens.) More likely I will use the proceeds from my Summer job (where this will be used) to purchase the camera, hopefully before the set gets beaten flat. I was originally intending to use this twice, once at a convention (now a week or two away) and the summer job. I have become very attached to the beasty as I have struggled with it, but it eats up a huge amount of space that I can't really afford to keep occupied. I have a tendency with WW to build a projeect, use the project, then give the finished structure away... only to start another project. This one has taken a lot longer than most.

If  Maiden of the High Seas comes out in time I will incorporate her as well. (I could also use a ghost ship, I may need to cludge one together.)

I have amassed a small force of undead pirates and privateer ogres in the course of creating this monster. (The ogres are good guys incidently, not villains.)

The other project is much less ambitious; a castle's postern leading to stairs running down the cliff to the docks. I may hold off on this last till Castle Works Ultimate comes out - this is for an adventure I wrote over 20 years ago (!) and have run in 4 different systems over the years. (AD&D, Rune Quest, Warhammer Fantasy Role Play (where it seemed to fit best), and  Role Master. Soon I will run it in D&D 3.5.) There is a smull 'dungeon' level, but this follows the same contours as the castle, and will  likely be built using IW: C&K and GR.

As you might guess I really enjoy mixing and matching sets.

The Auld Grump, still no time to do any futzing with SW aside from looking at it on my screen and going 'Ooooh, Ahhhh!'...

I have only look over the files, but I cant find the skullrock. There are the instruction, but not the skullrock-file itself. I guess it is hidden in on of the cliffs.

Sounds ambitious Grump!

Anyways I stacked up cliffs using the 2" high ones as bases, then going as high as you dare. Tiny bits of tape and clips made it hold together really well.

See the cliff instructions for the surgery on the cliff to make it a "mesa" I made a couple and found them incredibly sturdy.

Man, that is a great-looking set.  I can't wait for Denny to send me my download link!   ;D

This is the first time here for me. I just want to say I have bought all models and have become a big fan and would buy them again if to keep you guys in business.
This one is really great have already started folding. I just can't seem to find the skullrock folder. I have down loaded it 3 times and get just the instruction. Have looked in all the folders. Can someone help thanks.
