Thought it might be fun to encourage everyone to post the cool DLinx layouts they've dreamed up (or even built). Got a good idea for a layout for a maze...a foundry...an evil temple?

Edit: Heck with it...post layouts for anything you care to. It doesn't have to just be DLinx.

I'm borrowing from my that adds three new tiles to the Temple layout, but here is the Demon Temple design I cooked up. Opinions (and other posts, of course) most welcome:

Looks awesome, but some of the tiles don't line up right. I'm sure that'll get tightened up. Nice job.

Actually, part of that is a peculiarity of the original design, and how the left/right channels line up with the center....

...but I digress. Who else has layouts to share? C'mon...the iMP lets you crank them out quick and easy. This isn't just DLinx, either...any layout for any WW set you're using...let's see 'em!

Alright...if nobody else is posting a layout, I'll toss another one out.

As I've mentioned in a couple of the radio chats, WorldWorks is going to be showing up at a convention near the beginning of August. It'll be in scenic Nampa, Idaho (ok, so we're starting with a smaller convention).

Anyways, I will be running a booth for WorldWorks there, and am putting together a grand display intended to show a variety of what WorldWorks has to offer. So here is about 80% of my layout (the left-most bit is a secret for now):



There is a castle and gatehouse at the back of the village on the left. A series of SeaWorks cliffs separates the village from the interior of "the mountain", with a Something Below mine entrance piercing through the cliff and on into a series of mine tunneis...with a Gothic dungeon just to the north of it. There's traps, crypts, an evil altar, and a raised-edge pool from out of Missing Persons (which may yet have Paul's "extra tentacles" from the Tower of Chaos laying in it). The mine tunnel opens out...onto a concrete barrier and a set of rails heading up onto a subway/tram platform. in an urban layout with a series of different buildings and streets. Turn the wrong corner, though, and you'll find yourself...on a Mars Station landing pad, driving 'round a recently landed small ship, or following a Mars crawler south into the red landscape, which will hopefully include cliffs and/or PCON elements.

I believe I mentioned a ship on the landing pad. Still haven't figured out what it's going to be quite yet, though.

It could be the kitbash-default ship from Retrofit. That looks pretty tidy.

However, I've got a couple other designs I've been considering:
