1" and 1.5" hex grids, to overlay over "gridless" tiles.

Looking at some of these ideas, has anyone tried that 3-d look of printing 2 of something, then cutting out the frame from one and gluing onto the other? One idea would be the liquor cabinets from Pubs & Inns - cut out the shelves with the bottles, then glue in a clear piece for the window door, then a frame that wouldnt show but would set the shelves and bottles back a bit, then put that piece that was cut out, or another piece with the edging, giving the 3-d look to the cabinet. Hmmm. The more I read of these things, the more ideas I have for my own sets.

Also, if you want to create windows that have a slight "transparent" look, cut out the old windows, create your own stained glass pattern on tracing/onion paper (probably can't print on that stuff, I don't know though), and somehow fasten it in place (maybe with a sandwich frame or something).

That way, if you put a light behind the wall, the window will allow enough light to pass through and "glow" so to speak.

Maybe even waxed paper would work well for stained glass windows ...

Mine's a bit older -- a combination filmstrip/individual slide projector, picked up at a school surplus auction for $5.00. Getting a new bulb for it cost three times as much...

I have a single slide projector that was my grandmother's. It's one that really only 1 person can use at a time and you have to push each slide into the unit. I don't remember what brand it is, but it's brown in color.

Made sure my parents kept it to give to me. I like early camera technology, both in still and movie!
