Had an excellent game last Sunday........ first time trying out the Savage World rules, first time trying out my new MAYHEM terrain, some newly painted figures........

The game went really, really well. Some confusion over some of the rules (especially the shooting modifiers), but overall the system flowed really well........... one of the players is a die hard Magic player and refuses to play minatures normally, but after giving this a go, he's asking for more!!!!!!!

They loved the terrain BTW..... ........ need to get a bunch more floor tiles done, the petrol station and a few more accessories (phone boxes, bus stop etc)...........

Heh, nice Shinobi, I've yet to use the test drive rules and give Savage Worlds a go, but I'm more and more tempted each time I hear about a good game of it. Nice setup, looks like it was a blast for your players to game in. Always love the ingame shots the best .

On a somewhat related note, what did you think of the TAG minis? I've been teetering on the edge over them for a while...

Regarding the TAG minis...... I like them. I also like the Devil Dog minis I have, and they can be used together, but the TAG ones are a little more 'bulky'...... errrr 'chubby'....... but not so much that they look wrong. The Devil Dog minis are more 'realistic' in their proportions.

I bought the whole TAG Ranger set and am very happy with them.

I'm planning to get my Hasslefree "Zombie Hunter Family" (Dad, Mum, Teenage Slayer Daughter, and two young kids) painted up next, as well as my Copplestone "Predators". Maybe even my Devil Dog "Somalis" to represent some Inner City Gang.......... so many options for use of this terrain.......... sweet!

Have linked the report on all related forums (Dark Age, Forum of Doom ('cause of the minis used), Great White, and also on some general forums I frequent such as Boardgamecafe, Dungeon Crawlers etc etc). Hope they gather some more interest for ya.

Will also be using my Caveworks stuff as well as the Mayhem build for the forthcoming Conventions over here.

Now to get the Mars Station set started so I can pimp that one as well!!!

As Little Dragon mentioned, the cards come from the Great White website on the Modern Ops section. You can download free cards for a load of modern armies. I just modified them, changing a few weapons, making each Ranger a Wild card, and then doing new custom cards for the Zombie Munchkins, Hellmites and Jotun. Printing them on cardstock adds just a little bit extra to the player's experience

The sacrificial....... *ahem* brave US Rangers will be out again for another mission in the city of Mayhem this Saturday.

Their first mission saw just one survivor, how many will survive the next foray into the city centre???

Four players, each controlling a US Ranger will have to cooperate and roleplay in order to achieve their objectives.

"Once more into the breach dear friends, once more!!!"
