That would work really well for my games. Currently my city looks very "real-world-ish" and not at all as quirky as Mega-City One should be. Adding near future elements of Tokyo would really help a lot. Great idea.

@CCotD - You are right, I tend to design the cities as modern, which isn't necesarily how they have to be designed. Mega-City One is impossible to truly build a model table since everything is huge and oversized, but you can add elements into the mix.

Right now, I'm having fun planning different layouts that seem fun and can be used for multiple games (zombies gaming needs terrain too!) but would love to have something that really felt like the Big Meg.

One possibility is, as you say, to add lots of neon signs, but also to bring in lots of whackiness like knee-pad stores, and stores shaped after the product. One project that has sat way back in my mind for years is to build a burger bar that is shaped like a burger in a bun... entrance on the lower bun, with a seating level in the burger/dressing section, and the upper area seating in the top bun with skylights. One day I will actually do this, but it's a huge project.

I love the idea of collaborating though. Once I'm through with the batch of kitbashed I'm currently working on (probably not submission worthy/suitable) I'll hopefully be able to start of something. Any ideas to begin?
