Lol, nice jab at Paul, actually SiegeWorks is still one of the most useful sets I own, but I use it more for kitbashing than anything else. I feel for Paul with all the work he must have put into it, it is an incredibly versatile set overall.

If you don't want to go with a "beam" then try an arch, basically cutting out the general center area of the wall in question on both rooms still allowing you to butt them together but this way you don't have to worry about too much additional work, this way you can still butt them up against each other, not have to deal with a 3D beam and at the same time you can use the corner slots that hold up the roof pieces and keep the walls square, not sure how best to describe this though.

Glad you like the suggestion, wood textures from the "Maiden" and some other sets would work just as well. As I said it's just an idea, saves you from having to use one standard size and trust me, storing even just three 6X12 inch rooms was fun eneogh, just wait till the castle I'm currently building is finished and you'll cringe when you think of how I would have had to store it if it wasn't modular and seperatable . I will likely have some progress pics on my own CWU build in the next couple of months barring disaster. I have kinda blown off the idea of not showing the entire thing before it's done, and when it is done you'll all understand why .

I will try both support beams and arch and see how it goes.

but as you can see it did not work that well, or the build is not that good. Probably the later. My builds are getting better and I'm using 280 ggm paper instead of 200 ggm so that might help as well.

I will use a good 3D support and see how well that works. I have a small castle idea coming up based off of a real Scottish Castle and I will post when it is finished.
