I used it for the finale of my Evernight game, as the interior of the Spike.

I also built a series of modules that I can use for an alien ship - at some point I'm going to run a near-future mini-campaign around discovering and exploring an alien ship heading towards Earth.

That, (the alien ship heading towards us) is what I thought of (and so did WWG, if I read their promo right ). My alien ship I built that resembles the Klingon smaller D-7 (Bird of Prey?) looks great, plays well, but it isn't "alien" enough. Its got tons of Firstlight props I recolored and stuff, but its not "alien", Shadowcore definately has that look.

You can mix the two if you like. Shadowcore includes an "infested" version of the First Light's walls as I recall.

Yeah, Thats right, I read that I think. What is that, some sort of bio infestation? Damn, I've been away from Sci Fi too long, I don't even have the right lingo/terminology anymore I'm now in the clean/dirty sci fi vacum, have all these pretty TOS figures, pretty ships, and a "dirty" Aliens type Hadley's Hope colony (Built the central control, lab, med center, crews quarters etc. in a two story main building, with corridors leading to the very gritty, yet to be made industrial complex for our Traveller series.
Now I need fritty space Marines

Mine gonna be a Predator ship, with the Cobblestone Castings Hunter aliens in it.

I actually used it to run a game of Genestealer (a version of Space Hulk). It's a lot of fun when the ship actually looks like the insides of a Tyranid ship.

Haven't had a chance to build it up yet, but I know what I've thought of using it for.

Two ideas come to mind, and NEITHER are sci-fi related.

1) Beholder hive city.

2) The actual insides of some incredibly enormous beastie. I keep thinking I need to kitbash some organic-looking giant organs to put inside the larger rooms.

I can never "download now/ build later" I was only supposed to use some interior props from Mars Station now, but startred a "Mars Building a night" seguay (sp?), 'cause its too cool not to. Oh well, going from Zombies in Arkansas with Mayhem to FirstLight and Mars keeps it interesting. Shadowcore will be real diversity, its only connection the literally "oozing alien stuff into Firstlight corridors". Also must get the retro fit. Looks like plenty of stuff for my medlab.

makes some great mini's that would work grat with Shadowcore Prime.

If you want Dr Who, you must take a look at Matakishi's Tea House. The guy takes on huge projects each year and does some amazing things.

I did realize it was pounds sterling. I certainly can't afford it, but for what you get, that's not too shabby. The miniatures are high quality, and you get all the vehicles as well.

Btw, that's not how you use the word "quid":) It is usually used to imply just a few pounds. "It's only a couple of quid." Alternatively, you can use it for whole amounts "Fifty quid, for that?" I used to laugh when my wife tried using the word as it's hard to get it right, if you ain't from around here (or there as it were).

And before you say it, yes, I am a Londoner... I just live in the US now.

Also, the third series (which has just finished here in Britain) will air on the US Sci-Fi channel from 8PM this Friday, July the 6th. They are showing two episodes, the Christmas special 'The Runaway Bride', and the series opener 'Smith And Jones'. Pay close attention to what the tank commander says in '...Bride'. Who gives the order to fire? It is a name you will here again...

By the way, does anyone know if there are any companies making figures of troops with H&K G36 rifles, and, preferebly, berets? The G36 appears very often in new Who, as the firearm of choice for UNIT (red berets), Van Statten's security teams (SWAT type helmets and armour) and even the Game Station's security personnel, in the 2001st century (now that's longevity).
