Some early developments. VTOL port

I thought I would post some pictures of my early works in progress. I desperately need to do some edging, but other than that I think I am doing good. Sorry about my bed being in the picture, I am in a college dorm room and only have one desk.

My first general layout. It is a VTOL port. The APC on the left is my own creation in progress.

Very nice build. I like it alot. Nothing looks better than sets being combined together!

btw what figures are those?

Ooh, pretty! I was planning on making more PCON stuff soon, and I will definitely be copying some of your ideas. The tower looks great, and I can certainly use the backhoe.

Is this layout for gaming, or just to look cool?

Great build. I agree with others here, I will be using this as inspiration for future builds.

Did you recolor the Marsstation terrain for the cliffs and dirt? It looks light grey... and looks great. Was it just printed grayscale, or recolored?

Also, what is that APC from? I thought it might be the Ebbles Miniatures M9 Beauregard for a minute, but on closer inspection it's something else.

Very cool. In terms of the recoloring for marsstation terrain and retexturing of the cliffs... that's exactly the kind of thing I'd love to get hold of either as kitbashes, or booster packs.

It's probably too large and contains too much of the original product for a kitbash, but I'd snap it up as a booster pack.

Luckily I drew the number 3 in the room selection lottery last semester so I got my pick of pretty much any room on campus. So I picked the largest single they had available. It is pretty spacious if a bit empty. My only desk is filled with my computer and my cutting board. Right now my setup is on the floor and it will probably be left untouched until game night. After my PC's have throughly trashed the port, I will take it apart and make the next scene as I am using a magnetic based to keep the base tiles from moving. I like maximum modularity.
