I've been working recently to make a sketchup model of shellendrak, and I've come accross an issue with the roof.

I've noticed that for the grand gallery's independent roof the template has options for both 1" and 1.5" tile width. However the notch in the independent roof only appears to be for the 1" floor. I had thought there might be a 2nd version for the 1.5 version like there is for the door wall itself. But I cannot find it in the roof pdf.

Has anyone done a 1.5" version of shellendrak? Am I missing something?

Not quite sure I understand what you're asking. If you look at the roof template you'll see that both entrances are printed on the same template, the 1.5" version is slightly further out. In terms of width it is offset at 4" so that doesn't quite jibe with the 1.5".

What I mean is there doesn't seem to be a 2nd version of this notch for the 1.5 version on the template.

Wow... you're right... weird. Well, I guess I'd have to suggest you build it out slightly further forward and fill in the vacant space with some offcuts from another roof section if you're in a hurry. I'll see about whipping up a patch in the meantime. I just can't believe no one spotted that til now... crazy!

Its not an immediate problem for me, I'm still working in Sketchup. So I'll just apply the texture of the front to a piece made to the 1.5 scale.

To be honest, I'm not really sure. I believe my original intent was to make the surface as large as possible (without exceeding known printer limits) so people could get the most out of it.

You have to understand, in development time Shellendrak was decades ago...
