This may seem like a weird request, but here goes!

Do you remember a collectable dice game called Dragon Dice? It won game of the year in 1995, but was solf off after it's founder TSR died. The products now are owned by Chuck Pint and he operates the online Dragon Dice store, which sells all the out of print, and never to be continued game of Dragon Dice. It's also really great that he sells all the promo dice from the GenCons and other conventions.

Anyway if you don't know much about the game it's really easy to understand, and looks great on a table! Imagine Warhammer, but instead each character is represented by a d6 of one of three sizes.

Small = Commen
Medium = Uncommen
Large = Rare

Each dice has the logo of that exact character which will be something like a Wizard, Troll Slayer, Necromancer, etc. Then on the remaining 5 sides there are Movement icons, Melee icons, Missle Damage, Magic Icons, Save Icons, and a few other types depending on the character dice. So whenever you need to figure out what your unit rolls for Attacks, Saves, Magic etc..... you just roll that unit of troops and tally the results. So as you can imagine a Goblin Archer would have 2 sides of the dice Missle Damage, 1 side movement, and 1 side save, to make his odds reflect an archer.

The game is really wonderfull, and bulding units on the battlefeild is really fun as you may like to build a calvary with Mages, and also mix Matching races. There were some really great races including Amazons, Treefolk, Undead, and so on! I can't really do this game justice, but I have added a link below so you can check it out.



If you have checked it out you can see that translating a game like this would be incredible to do in cardstock, as building an army would be ideal if you could just print a new unit whenever you needed to. I could see each set consisting of a different army, like a Goblin Army, Coral Elves Army, Flamekin Army, etc.....

Ultimaely it would be great if WorldWorksGames struck a partnership with Dragon Dice to release a cardstock version, but any attempt at a 3D Cardstock Dice Wargame would be great. I have a few sets I have made of my own stuff and it has turned out as great replacement for the real McCoy!

Maybe just a pipe dream, but I loved Dragon Dice and was sad to see Lester Smiths game end because of Lorraine Williams and the TSR debauckle![url][/url]

I allways thought that the concept was really crazy, but differnt than anything I had seen before. I really like the fact that in the game their are Terrain Dice, and they are a D8 that is rolled to show battlefeild conditions which effect the battles! It can get a little crazy when Undead Armies are contantly using swamplands for Terrain Dice, and they keep reanimating their dead.

Yeah, I was a big Lester Smith fan and would love to see the concept used in some sort of way in a game. I have used them many times in Castles & Crusaders just to randomize what my monsters would do when I had my players facing a horde!
