I saw both Indy and Iron Man in the same weekend and Iron Man totally blew away Indy. As Denny said, I too came away feeling "empty".

And if you watch the fight scenes on the vehicles, someone didn't know their lighting techniques when the camera was flying overhead. So irrirated by that that I thought I'd mention it twice.

I kinda wish I hadn't looked at this thread. I really enjoyed the film, but now I know, when I watch it again, I'll notice all the little flaws. I guess I'll summarize and say it was a good film... just could have been a bit better.

I haven't seen Iron Man yet. Heard good things about it, but my wife really hates a certain actress who is usually in Spiderman flicks, and wandered into this one too. I'll end up seeing this on DVD I suspect.

Mummy looks good, and I've enjoyed the other films so far, with special effects that are better... but Brandon Fraser is no Harrison Ford. One thing that bugs me... it's The Mummy 3, but they decided to name it The Mummy... very confusing.

The Dark Knight does look amazing, and I agree, The Joker looks a lot scarier this time around. I am a little concerned though... the actor who played The Joker was the one who died in his apartment in a "accidental prescription drug overdose" back in January. I know it sounds heartless, but I hope they filmed all his scenes before the incident.

I think that those who don't like Shia Saide LaBeouf should keep one point in mind. The target demographic for movies is 15 year olds. Teenagers are still the target for any movie that goes out. Shia definitely would appeal to todays lippy teenagers. And don't get me going about what teens call 'music', its more like aurel sex!

The best scene to me in the whole movie was the "Refrigerator" and the test surrounding that whole scene. Purely awesome stuff.

As an aside - when I was a kid, living in South Boston, I always thought that the Ducks were the coolest darned vehicles in the whole world.

Nowadays I just think that they are one of the coolest.

Hmmm, some of those might look good in Mayhem.

I went to see it on account that my fiance wanted to. I didn't like it. I didn't like 1 and 3 either, and never saw 2. But what really irked me was that the cosmology revealed at the end of the movie logically invalidates the monotheistic truth implicit in 1 and 3 with the Ark and the Grail respectively. No way that stuff can exist side by side with Judeo-Christian myhthology accepted as the God's Honest truth.
