What a day.

Kane, Arabin, my buddy Neil and I had a great time today.

We only got two games in, but man where those fun.

Arabin proposed a 4 way game and we decided to test it. I really need to remember to bring my camera. The build he put together on this was simply incredible.

First game, I double moved my guys out into the open where Arabin and Kane both took ownership. I was done and gone during the 2nd turn. My buddy Neil "won" that one by getting his dudes off the map (all but one).

In the second game, Arabin was the one who ran up double moving and paid the price. Although it took longer for him to get out.

Crowning moment of the game, I rolled two 6's to hit but rolled 2 ones for damage... WTF?!? I think Arabin did the same thing, or it was Kane. Can't remember who did it 2nd time around.

I had a blast even though it was only 2 games, we were all involved, no one sitting out.

I hope that Arabin can put some polish on the scenarios and see if Signs & Portents will publish it. It's that good.

Well it's late and I need sleep before going to work in the A.M.

CCotD'

That was a great game day. Thanks for hosting CCotD! We definitely had some interesting rolling. But all told, it was a blast.

It was a lot of fun. Thanks for hosting, coming, and playing my untested scenario.

The idea had been something to kick off a campaign, but a 4-way game of GOMC1 is so brutal that it's probably better as a one off game. Still... I think everyone enjoyed it, even with all the loses. Everyone wanted to go again right after a snack break which was encouraging.

The games did take a lot longer to play that a usual game, but as you said, we were all involved... most of the time. Getting knocked out early kinda sucked for CCotD for such a long game... but I can't really see a way around that.

I wouldn't mind trying that same one, with less players next time, to see if there needs to be reward adjustment based on number of players. If between the three of you, you could get a second setup of terrain, we should be able to do a lot more... though tables might be a problem.

It is a shame we didn't get any photos, but my setup was a mix of WWG, Ebbles, and Stone Edges, so it's getting a bit trickier to know what to post anyway.

I will certainly attempt to work on more scenarios for us. I'm thinking of banning Neil's dice from any scenario I write though... he rolls way too many 6's!
