Just to be clear UHF, what is it you want to do? You want to create large chits out of the damage system or what?

I'm probably going to make two versions, one for UHF and one for me. My version shrank the TOS down to a 2.5x3.5 card and rather successfully I might add. The major change I had to make was to shrink the data inserts to fit.

So now I've got a 4-5 layer sandwich card, nice, thick, and substantial. The first two layers are a base layer and the other side of the card. The next two act as spacers and the final layer has the TOS data on it. The spacers and the top layer are cut out so that a reduced form of the data inserts will actually insert into the card. After some testing it works very well. I can cram five little inserts into a single card. There was a small fit problem, but a little adjusting and wiggling made it work alright. The whole shmear fits neatly into a plastic card sleeve and I can easily draw in dry-erase marker all over it.

I'm having so much fun with the data inserts right now I look like Winnie the Pooh: "Put the balloon in, take it out. Put the balloon in, take it out..."

The only downside is that the smaller insert doesn't accommodate pictures or the rules text on the back. What I can do is provide bare rules references on the back instead of full fluff text. Maybe even fit in a downsized version of the octagonal images. We'll see. For now it's bedtime for Bonzo.

Has this gone anywhere since? I too am interested in a smaller, more portable version of the TOSes.

Ok, I finished finally. Whenever you guys are ready, I'll send you the stuff you need. I've printed out a couple now and the system works pretty well. In the cases where you place a modchip in front of an order, you just mark with a dry-marker. Removing modchips isn't a big deal either. You can do that or just draw an x on your slip-cover.





The idea is that you can either use the wormhole logo as your TOS back or use the statcard front as your TOS back and then fold the logo onto the text side of the statcard. Your choice.
