I just started working on my first buildings! First I've got to say these are very impressive and easy to assemble. My question is that I did the interior mod for my first building, but was wondering if anyone had tryed editing the image to print out the walls like in the pubs and inns, with a score/fold line at the top? I was thinking it would make the mod a lot easier to assemble, but haven't had much luck with modifying the image in microsoft photo editer. It keeps messing with the dimensions.

If you wish to do that kind of bash accurately you'll need a photoshoping program. If you don't have one there is a free one online called GIMP.

The key to getting accuracy to match the dpi setting of the photoshop file and the adobe reader file.

To be honest I was considering that kind of bash this week, after assembling a number of the VillageWorks buildings.

I decided against it for a few reasons.

One, I like bracing my VW buildings with craft sticks so they don't warp/curve. Having interiors would negate that.

Two, if the action moves inside I'd rather set up a separate InteriorWorks board so it can be seen by all.

Three, I didn't want to muck about with matching the interior stuff with the corner braces and making floors.

I like the VW pieces for when we're out in the streets but prefer to move to a separate setup for when things move inside. It's just easier for me to do it that way.

That having been said, I might be tempted to give the bash a try just to see how it would look.

I have done quite a few. I can't find that many pictures of them as my old photo server is still down.



Here is one next to my harbour master building and it has complete interiors and is built just like the buildings from CWU.

I used photoshop and it did take a bit of time when I did it but that was a few years ago and I'm much faster now.

Thanks for the replies guys and gal! I downloaded gimp and after playing around with it I managed to get the walls mirrored and aligned just right The walls really came out a lot sturdier, and total assembly time was only an hour and a half (only my second build). I realy appreciate all the help, hopefully after I've got some more experiance I can try out some more serious customizing.
