I used to print everything out at fast normal and it looked good. But on my printer fast normal is a setting under normal quality. So when I switched to generic cartridges I tried printing on normal and the colors where much more vibrant. In my gallery everything except the maiden, hinterlands, and gothic realms is printed fast normal.

I think that in some of the instructions on the sets WW recommends fast normal printing. It might have been in the gothic realms set.

But I like the more vibrant look of normal. And since my generics cost $4-$5 I can afford to print on normal.

I always use normal as my Canons don't seem to have anything between "Normal" and "Fast". That said, it comes out great. Got generic carts off eBay (WITH chip) for $20 for a whole set of 5 carts. Not bad!

Yeh I wouldn't probably mind printing on normal if the ink was cheaper but getting a new HP cartridge is about $50 or more (AUS) out of pocket, and I have looked at the Ebay option but nearly every one is 4-5 bids and the ones that aren't are the ambiguous ones that don't have any pics.

Does anyone have any links to an International or even Australian printer cartridge webstore?

I can't say a bad word about my continuous ink setup, if you can get one to fit your ink jet give it a try, I've just run my tanks dry once and a full set of replacement ink was $60 AUD for 6 colours with 100mls of ink for each colour (10 carts worth?)

removing paper cost i think my print outs are 6-7c a page depending on how much stuff I fit on a page .
