|

'Shellendrak Manor' could very well be Matt Lyon's cardstock opus! I mean really, this thing is ridiculously cool on so many levels. I'm beaming like a proud father at the incredible job Matt did on this upcoming release. This modelset is sure to be extremely popular and makes real all those creepy mansion campaigns you've dreamt of playing for years!
Shellendrak Manor is modular mansion setting with dozens of wall dressing options and props which make it equally suited to a variety of time periods. Not only is this set bursting at the seams with everything you'd expect to see in a mansion but believe it or not it also comes with its very own mini-game 'Zombie Manor'! The word ambitious doesn't quite cut it to describe this set.
Full product description and flash movie coming soon but for now I'll let the pictures do the talking

My brain got so excited that I thought it said "GOLD" not "Reveiled" so I went the the web store straight away! Alas not yet.
These look awesome! Matt you should be very proud of that work! Man I can't wait to get this!!!!
I may have to get Horror clix to use with this set instead of the other way around!!

Very friggin cool! Reminds me a lot of Resident Evil 1. Of course, that was supposed to be set in a similar style manor house, so naturally it would. GREAT job. Definitely have to try out that mini game with it!

Matt this is FREAKING awesome. It's like having a chance to own a Masters artwork from the 1500's, thats how excited I am.
And I just got given this printer from work. Coffee and idle chatter goes a long way.

This could not be more timely...if this is available in 1.5" scale, this will be added to my "Recently begun but quickly growing" collection of WWG models.

I would not count on any 1.5" releases anymore I think I spend more time kitbashing to get a 1.5" then I do building these days.

Then think again, my kilted friend! Shellendrak is triple format, baby! And thanks to it's "footprint" design system, no more pesky half-inch wastage either...

I will keep to my Savage World 1" rebasing the miniatures...But glad to ear that the poor 1'5" user will have to work less to use them...

Wow. I didn't know what to expect, but I'm very excited now.
I like to run skirmish games so this will be a lot of fun. I like the idea of a mini game with the release as well. Its nice to have stuff like that as backup on game night.
Now I have to come up with a Con scenario for this.
Props to the cover artist as well, whoever you are. Very nice!

All I can say is WOW! I mean WOW! No! I mean WOW! Really! Just when I thought I may never re-visit my Buffy the Vampire RPG, you come out with this spectacular set, Matt! Now, I'm gonna have to dust off those books and create an adventure just for this model set.
Did I say WOW?!! 'cause I mean to!

Truly amazing and beautiful. There is a upcoming set in the Savage Tide Adventure Path where the party has to rescue their benefactor in her manor. I was wondering what I was going to do for that just this morning (thinking ahead). Now I know...and a minigame to boot. Let me just add another WOW out there.
I wait with baited breath for the gold announcement.

<--- is completely stunned
I expected a lot, based on previous works Matt has produced, but this is incredible, and sure to be one of the all time best selling sets. My heart is racing with the possibilities. Not only an incredible manor, but the textures! It even has marble columns so I can finally build my bank!
Thanks Matt. You are a big tease, but man, it's always worth the wait in the end. This is awesome. Now just get this puppy up for sale and you'll soon be able to buy something like it in 1:1 scale
EDIT: I love so many things in this set that I won't drool over it all just yet... somebody might drown. However, I love the second to last preview... some kind of zombie game comes with this set!?! Please tell me it includes solo play...

This is a fine looking set. Go back to the pics and look at some of the little details:
The moose head on the wall (one of my favorites)
The appearance of depth on the stairs, but they're still sized for minis
The Tesla coils
The front gate
The curtains
And those are just some of the little things. I love the car and the carriage, too. Heck, I kind of wish my little girl had 28mm dolls; I'd build her one as a dollhouse.

No need to start insults. A lot of people enjoy solo play, which is one of the reasons games like ATZ include solo rules. It's a perfectly valid question.

Upss !! Sorry if offended... it was more in the line of "WorldWorks are amazing and are able to deliver more than you expected" that in the "You're a looner and have no friends"... or whatever your understanding of my two sentences read... And I don't belive there's a single insult in them... But as it cost nothing to me...
I claim excuses to all the people in the world that like to play solo - And I know that there are a few in that forum
I from time to time use to play solo ...but won't say to what in that kind of forums !!!

Alert! Course correction! Course correction!
What a great looking set of teaser shots, no? Like many, I don't usually do interiors for my buildings (usually I just do them flat-style), but I'm definitely going to have to change that philosophy for this set. I can't wait to see what some of the builds done with this will look like. I was considering a big plot with an entry gate done using CWU's towers and perhaps gatehouse. That'd be slick.
