This is a fantastic build & a wonderful collaboration with one of the industry's world shaper. I am actually looking forward to sitting down and building this bad girl and mounting at work.

Its funny you say that. I've always wanted to fill my walls with movie props, weapons and replicas but the cost always prevented that. This project with Tracy Hickman gave me the perfect excuse to do the next best thing. This is what WWG Forge was essentially to be, 1:1 scale weapons.

Same here. I'd love to have those weta guns.

But until I win the lotto, this gun looks great on my wall. I'm really looking forward to what else you come up with in this line.

Wow. I'm baffled that you can make something like this out of paper (and I've built the Maiden)!

Now you need to do a line of fantasy weapons, so that I can run around and hit my friends with them.

Support this one and the later will surely follow. That's what WWG Forge was/is all about

WAIT... Are they sturdy enough to actually hit people (softly) with? If so I've suddenly gotten very interested.

That had me laughing out loud! I sooo want one.

Am I correct in my assumption that each use either destroys or drains one of the 'gems' upon the revolving cylinder? That in effect the electric discharge is piezoelectric in nature, perhaps energizing an excitable medium to a state similar to St. Elmo's fire, but directional in nature?

Or is the effect Aetheric in origin, merely channeled through the crystals, perhaps destructively?

I want the ornithopters, I want the airships, I ESPECIALLY want the terrain (have just bought skull cove to get the nearest thing to desert terrain I can find)

Ah-HA! I knew this was going to be for the Forge (was completely off on what the forge was, but still...). Again, awesome looking product, and if you can get this out in the next few weeks (I know, probably not, but still...), it's a perfect product for many a Hallowe'en costume.

I'll be buying some more books soon ::grinning:: I've not read anything from these authors yet, but that will quickly change now.

You don't stop to amaze me... I'm in a "non build state" lately and so I've left pass the few last sets as I see that I keep delaying the building of what I've in mind and printed... but I keep coming every day just to see that kind of things... It's wonderfull.. I hope my economy and my time get's out of recesion so I could get the last 3 or 4 set that I've missing and that one will be in it for sure... only to support your work and all your team !

I have to say that what sells me the most on this item is seeing how it looks in the short video (perhaps because it gives a nice sense of scale). I think any set could benefit from having a short "commercial" like this.
