This is a WIP of my “Loudwater Project”.

My first source of inspiration is, of course, the 4th edition FR Campaign guide, but I plan to recreate some typical structures of my city (portics).

I used, as you can see, TLX Thoumonts and Street of Himmelveil. Props are from other sets.

So far I have made the tavern (here you can see the ground-level floor and the first floor – second and third floor will arrive soon, just the time to make the pics) and the surrounding street with a market.

Inside the tavern you can see miniatures of the Mirliton brand painted on commission.

I have to redo some pieces badly realized and the furnishing is provisional, but this is the core of the project.

After this, I will try to cover all the table with buildings (at least other three buildings, and the city wall), streets and props. Of course, later my plans include a sewer underground level (if I will live enough to do it ).

The work was very hard, much more that I had expected (I don’t have the robo cutter), but the result worth it. I hope you enjoy it.

Nice build VictoriusX! I especially like how you've utilized props from VillageWorks and Pubs & Inns in there. They actually work quite well in that setup despite their age.

The big bonus is that you've got all these bits to create new buildings with. The suffering was worth it!

Thanks Denny, I think that despite of the age, older sets can still do their job (I plan to include at least one older building) - I used even the book shelf of Dungeonwork classic, it is still pretty.

I think that Worldworks is superior to other brands for the attention for the props and little accessories, the other producers, in my opinion, make also good stuff, but are always one o two steps behind WW.

By the way, It will be fun to launch a props-only set.

Ooh, a craft cutter, how do you get it to cut the right areas?

Short answer: look here for the WWG support threads.

Slightly longer answer: each of the new sets WWG produces (TLX) has a template for the cutter software which is used in conjunction with alignment markings on the PDF files to produce flawless (once calibrated) cuts!

It is perfect for saving your fingers and increasing your productivity.

Just few minutes ago, assembling the pieces I realized I need some more pieces (assembly of the roofing is quite complex, I made a little mistake making wrong elements ), so the next photos will take a couple of days.

I wish a robo cutter, as well as a team of robots!

I'm a bit uncertain about the northwest corner of the map, I do not know how to fill it (though this will be the emporium of Loudwater).

The question, however, is postponed to when I finish what I planned.

I am currently doing the walls of the first floor of the district. I want to include in the design gardens and archways.

This build is pretty darn incredible. I love the feeling of the attic spaces as well.

Thanks Denny! I worked very hard in this weekend to complete the first level of the district east of the tavern.

Now I'm giving a bit of "rest" by building some Hinterland trees and bushes (the Garden tree requires a pink marker ) and then get myself to work to create the necessary props to decorate the ground floor.

Soon I'll post new photos. Your appreciation motivates me a lot.
