Here is a test build for the shellendrak roof. We didn't see any exterior corner sections and the shellendrak roof will need some. So once again kit bash time!

The Thoumont's roof sections are quite brilliant, so they will come in handy for the design and geometry. The roof textures will get replaced with the Shellendrak textures. I'm not sure I understand her evil genius with the whole roof design, but I'm sure her plan is quite evil!

Moving along a little more slowly now that all the cool new mayhem and thoumonts stuff is out (too many distractions!)

Very slick design on the corner roof. Does it have to be put in the trusses before they're put on the tile?

Her evil genius know no bounds!!! We talked about the corner mounting issue you mentioned. Initially the plan was to finagle the piece in since the roof support sections are somewhat flexible even after they are attached to the floor sections. Little did I know she had another plan up her sleeve!



A floating post that links two sections of roof together. It is not attached to the floor section and can be slid into the gap between two roof sections. There is a tab at the base that sits on the roof to keep it from sliding out.



Here you see the floating post in action. The standard six inch roof support holds each corner piece to the floor piece and the floating post links the two corners together. A nice neat little package.

I am trying to do the same corner. How is the corner modified?

This makes me want to do a Bank Conversion :3 but that will have to wait till I have the money to blow on cardstock and ink and get my current project completed. Oh and download and learn to play with GIMP Is it similar to Corel? I have an OLD version of that from like the 90's but it be too old for anything here lol

I don't think it's similar. I'll admit, I felt lost the first few times I tried to do something with GIMP, but the tutorials I watched online helped immensely.

And if you're struggling in GIMP, feel free to ask questions. Post to the forums here (probably in the kitbashing section?) and we'll help out. Often times it's hard to google for information when you don't know what the feature is even called.

I find it easier to play around with the software then find tutorials on google or youtube. I only search it up when:

A.) I'm completely brand new to the subject/concept and don't understand anything at all (And I've played with imaging software before so nope :3) or

B.) It's a feature I have never used or played with and is so buried or complicated that I need a tutorial to show me how to find and/or use it.

Otherwise playing around with it works for me and even helps me discover outcomes the functions aren't particularly intended for.

Plus this will have to wait. Trust me, I'm not diving into any big project like this head first without practice. I'll probably play around with a streets conversion or other mayhem conversion that has already been officially done to try and get similar results, or is so simple a blind, deaf, mute monkey could do it in his sleep.
