Hi All I am building LotDG and am much more enamoured of the "thick" TLX walls than the "thin" ones. The trouble is, you get one of each on a sheet of card and hence I am building up a collection of "thin" walls, I will probably never use. Anyone found a good use for them ? To get around this, I tried to create my own print file in powerpoint. I cut and paste a "thick" wall from the original PDF into a blank powerpoint presentation. I then mucked about with it's size to get it to print at 6" wide. I then copied two of these pictures onto the same page (just fit on an A4 sheet), so that I could then print two "thick" walls per sheet of card. So far so good. The trouble is, I have lost some resolution going from PDF to powerpoint. I guess this method is flawed. I don't own a copy of photoshop. Does anyone have any recommendations of how to manipulate images from a TLX PDF such that I can get two high res "thick" walls on a single sheet of cardstock? Frank |

GIMP is free and is certainly up to the task even if the learning curve can be steep for some. If you've already made a bunch of thin walls and want to convert them up, you can design your own triangles in GIMP, print out a special sheet with a bunch on them, and affix them to your already made walls. |

I second that suggestion for using GIMP. It's confusing at first, but I really found the tutorials on YouTube to be helpful just understanding what is what and how some tools work. Just make sure you set the resolution to 300ppi when importing the images in. I have missed that before and wasted countless hours 'cuz my end result was drastically lower quality. The whole reason that the "anti-warp walls" appear only one to a page is, I think, because putting 2 of them on a page would put it outside the cutable area for a robocutter. And many of us in the hobby like to use those. |

On the subject of LotDG Anti-Warp walls, what is the purpose of the walls that have the shorter anti-warp element as opposed to the standard full length one ? |

Well, I am happy to report success with GIMP. I must admit, I blundered around it a bit and am sure there are easier ways, but I managed to import a walls file (at 300dpi), cut out a "thick" wall from the file and paste it twice into a new document and then print it. It looks the right size and resolution (much better than the powerpoint version). Excellent stuff guys. I'll be a kitbasher before you know it lol. |

Good job! Make sure you measure those printouts to make sure they are to scale before you go ahead and print dozens. It's always possible that something adjusted the scale or scaled it when printing. It's been a long time since I looked at Lair of the Dragon God, but I want to say those shorter antiwarp edges on some are there to allow room for catwalks or something. |
